High school is probably the worst for relationships. There should be a study for it. Perhaps also a study on complete clichés used by romantic comedies which make me question if my life is even real. With the confidence that a good percentage of anyone bothering to read this will have no idea who I am I'm actually willing to keep a public diary at the urging of people who I honestly am not quite sure are in the position to be giving life advice. But essentially the state of the union is that I recently broke up with my semi-abusive boyfriend of one year who from this point on I will refer to as Scorpion (if only for the continuity of insect names) and am quite taken with my best friend who treats me as much more than that who I will call Dragonfly. The unfortunate thing about Dragonfly is that he also recently got out of a relationship with his girlfriend of two years and still has feelings for her though he has given up on any chance of getting her back. He has told me that he doesn't want to risk me hating him if we didn't work out and is adament that it would not due to his newfound pessimism towards romance in general. Not quite encouraging.
